Yu Zidi

Yu Zidi (Chinese: 于子迪; pinyin: Yú Zǐdí, born October 16, 2012) is a Chinese swimmer. She gained worldwide recognition when she was chosen to represent China at the 2025 World Aquatics Championships at 12 years old. At the 2026 Asian Games, she won gold medals in the 200 metre butterfly, 200 metre individual medley and 400 metre individual medley, setting an Asian Games record in the 200 metre butterfly and 400 metre individual medley and an Asian and world junior record in the 200 metre individual medley. She was named the Female Most Valuable Player (MVP) of the 2026 Asian Games.
