Biography
Ben Hutton (born April 20, 1993) is a Canadian professional ice hockey player who is a defenceman for the Ottawa Senators of the National Hockey League (NHL) on a professional tryout agreement. Hutton was selected 147th overall in the 5th round of the 2012 NHL entry draft by the Vancouver Canucks, with whom he played the first four seasons of his NHL career, and has also played for the Los Angeles Kings, Anaheim Ducks, Toronto Maple Leafs, and Vegas Golden Knights. Hutton won the Stanley Cup with Vegas in 2023.
Hutton played Junior A in the Central Canada Hockey League before attending the University of Maine, where he earned All-Hockey East First Team honours. Internationally, he won gold with Team Canada at the 2016 IIHF World Championship.
